Connecting Up Servers

BI Office 6.x

The required connection settings are for the BI Office database repository:

• Database server address (and instance)
• Database name
• SQL user
• SQL user password

NOTE: Windows Authentication for the repository is not currently supported.

Pyramid 2018

The required connection settings are for the Pyramid 2018 server instance (not the repository)

• Pyramid 2018 URL
• Active Directory domain .
• user name of an admin user on Pyramid 2018
• password of the admin user

The utility will not operate unless it can successfully connect to both frameworks.

Active Directory

The Active Directory setup in both applications must match for the tools to work fully. That means that the domains used to populate users need to be in sync as well.
